Spending Gold
Spending Gold
There are many times that you can and will spend Gold. Units, nukes, districts, and buildings have "maintenance costs" that must be paid every turn. You can also extend your civilization's territory by purchasing individual tiles, or you can use the Gold to purchase units and buildings. Upgrading obsolete units will also cost Gold. Gold may also be exchanged with other civilizations during diplomacy.
